Is Small Group PT Right for You?

Common Questions
What if I have an old injury?
That's exactly what SGPT is built for. Your coach writes programming around your limitations—whether it's an old shoulder injury, back issues, or knee problems. We work with what you have, not what you wish you had. If you have an active injury that needs rehab, we'll refer you to a physiotherapist first, then train you post-rehab.
What's the time commitment?
We recommend 2×/week for optimal results (that's our most popular option). You can also do 1×/week for maintenance or 3×/week for accelerated progress. Each session is 60 minutes. Most members train Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, with morning, lunch, or evening options available.
Can I try it before committing?
Absolutely. Start by booking a 15-minute assessment call where we'll discuss your goals and see if SGPT is the right fit. If it is, you'll join for a 3-month commitment at your chosen frequency. Month-to-month after that.
What if I miss sessions?
Life happens. If you need to miss a session, let your coach know and we'll adjust your programming for the following week. If you need to pause for travel or injury, we can work with you on a case-by-case basis. We're flexible, but consistency is what gets results.
How is this different from group classes?
Group classes are great for general fitness and community, but they're not personalized. In SGPT, your coach writes YOUR program based on YOUR goals and injuries. You get form coaching on every set, not just when the coach happens to be near you. And with max 4 people instead of 20, the coaching is actually individualized.
What does a typical session look like?
You'll start with a coach-led warm-up specific to that day's work. Then you'll work through your individualized strength program—usually 3-5 main movements like squats, deadlifts, presses, or pulls. Your coach is watching the whole time, giving real-time form corrections and adjusting loads. Sessions end with accessory work or mobility as needed. 60 minutes total.
